Hermes Copper
Lycaena hermes

Observation date: June 22, 2019
Submitted by: Robert Gorman
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Warm Day female being Courted by several males. The female is rarely seen once mated they spend there time off laying eggs. Away from the Males. Very Thankful that there is still a few of these left, Hopefully they will survive against all the odds against them! We did not see this Pair mate, this female seemed to only want nectar and kept fleeing from the persistent males!
