Observation notes: Saw the leaves of my potted Vinca eaten by something, so I looked around and saw this large caterpillar. I was ready to destroy it but after I did some research I decided to leave it alone. It did not move at all when I poked it with a stick. I am submitting a photo of this because it will probably turn into a moth and fly away before I can capture a photo of it.
