Coordinator notes: I first requested the addition of Battus lycidas species to BAMONA, but then discovered Battus belus as almost identical and decided to place this sighting here. --- Then 2 Sep 2024 it was marked "Misidentified" by an unnamed coordinator with this reason which satisfied me: "Battus belus and Battus ingenuus have been split. "Belus" is now S. America, whereas "ingenuus" is through Central Am. All your sightings are "ingenuus" which is in BAMONA." Thus my third and I hope last ID for this very interesting swallowtail! I'm also changing in my personal galleries.
