Observation notes: One found nectaring on Fendler's Buckbrush in the lower part of Pacheco Canyon. I have found this in the canyon in several different years, always on buckbrush or Dogbane. I have not found this species elsewhere in the county.

Coordinator notes: I haven't seen it in these parts for many years. now I know where to look. maybe recent fires will lead to proper habitat eventually?
