Observation notes: Pale-banded wouldn't have such a notched FW. Also note chestnut areas along wing edges. I considered Ardys, but the HW band would be comprised of spots. This band is more like that of the Pale-banded. Uploaded what I believe is the same species from another day. #1241785. This species is similar to more northern Chestnut Crescent that strays into Texas.
