Coordinator notes: The status of the Azures is often determined by flight period. There is substantial variability in the coloration of individuals flying together at the same time. While the markings of this individual looks more like a Summer Azure, it was flying March 24 according to the record, right in the middle of the Spring Azure flight. Without some evidence beyond a picture that there is a spring flight of Summer Azures that fly with Spring Azures (which would be really confusing given the deliberate separation of these forms into species historically based partly on flight period), or that this individual is genetically a Summer Azure that emerged 2 months early, it seems most proper to assume it is a color variant of a Spring Azure.
