Observation notes: Observed two adults flying circles through a mid-elevation, shrubby grassland in the foothills of the Chisos Mountains. One of the adults flew up the hill side, the one photographed landed on a young Torrey yucca. The yucca had at least three single, milky white eggs on the leaves. After about 30 seconds, the butterfly flew, again circling low through the shrubs and eventually flying up the hill. The day was sunny with a slight breeze and about 82 degrees F.
