Observation notes: Butterfly landed on desert globemallow (Sphaeralcea ambigua) in desert-scape of front yard; closer look of photos suggests it may have been ova-positing in flower buds before it flew away. Mild sunny spring day (~80F) in Las Vegas Valley with thunderclouds beginning to build over Spring Mountains to west.
