Observation notes: Weather: Overcast day, 64 F, light winds. Area: residential yard in city limits,, Oklahoma City, OK 73112, first noticed on hollyhock stem about 2" above ground level, under pecan tree with abundant leaf litter on ground. Observations: Margin of wings, rippled. Wings are lined, possibly with faint/light "comma" on widest band of top wings. Underwings protrude to front and are visible when at rest. Abdomen ribbed/lined and with distinct pointed end (not blunt). Legs tan-ilght brown. Body about 2" long. Not observed in flight.
