Observation notes: This small (approx. 1 cm.) moth was flitting through the lawn in Bette Davis Picnic Area, moving from spot to spot at intervals of about 5 to 6 feet. Standing on blades of grass, its front legs looked very much like tiny twigs. Long antennae were draped over the back. Wings were at all times very rolled, so it was extremely difficult to see the color pattern, though it seemed to be beige and brown on a tan background. Underwings were never visible. Identification as a Lucerne Moth was suggested by Jan Metlevski.
