Observation notes: As I was still trying to absorb the thrill of having a Prometheus moth land on my back deck, this huge underwing landed on the screen of the sliding door. The contrast between the charcoal gray hind wing and underwing was such that the latter appeared on fire. Two giants within 10 minutes of each other - how thrilling.
