Observation notes: Hot day, butterfly spent several minutes, quite relaxed, in and around a patch of echinacea until it fluttered away. There is also a large Joe Pye weed very close by, and many, many wild flowers in our yard. There's a pond (Red Bridge Pond) behind our yard, several houses distance away.
