Observation notes: As you can tell, this moth was on the entrance door of a 31 story building which fronts the Mobile River in Mobile, Alabama. I have lived in Mobile my whole life and have never seen this moth. My interest was piqued as I had read a story this morning about the spotted lanternfly and it looked very similar.
