Observation date: August 22, 2020
Date notes: Saw this beauty 1st time ever staring at me as I opened front door....just sitting on my front porch floor.

Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Mild temp about 70 degrees, early morning, clear skies. Accidentally bumped it and it stuck to my cane, then "cyrled" I thought I squished it but I think it was playing dead. After about 2 minutes it opened up and crawled up my finger. Plants near are a potted Japanese maple, a wondering jew, succulents, Boston Ivy and in ground black cana flags. I'm 46 and have NEVER seen one.
