Coordinator notes: This has characterists of both J. c. coenia & J. c. grisea. Characteristics of coenia forewings has pinkish/cream band, yellowish ring around eye. Characteristics of grisea forwings beige scales below eye at very bottom of wing edge vs brown in coenia. Antennae club on this butterfly is bulb shaped as in grisea vs flat in coenia. Orange band on hind wings is wide as in coenia, etc. Can there be an intermediate of Junonia c. coenia & Junonia c. grisea? I'm more confident to ID this as J. c. grisea. Thank you! JAMES STEEN
