Observation date: October 25, 2020
Submitted by: KTeipel
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: I almost stepped on it this morning. It had rained, and it was in the grass. I relocated so my dogs wouldn’t step on it. I don’t know species of its host plants, but I have maple and oak trees nearby, with unknown vines and plants.

Coordinator notes: Was probably crawling to find a place to burrow into the earth and form its pupa. Pentas are a common host plant in the South.
