Large Orange Sulphur
Phoebis agarithe

Observation date: November 25, 2020
Submitted by: Robert Gorman
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Raised from larvae found on Pink Pom-poms! Male seemed like fewer of these beauties this year. Enough to keep the population going though and Great to find stuff this late in the season. I think these are seen a lot earlier in the Palm Springs area. Here at the coast there a late season treat! Mostly Mild days so far this fall, only one cold snap with good rain near us. More is needed in this dry desert Climate. Take care my friend hope all is well! We grow lots of host and Larval food plants. Have very good luck attracting lots of species!
