Observation notes: Found as a caterpillar on 7/25/2020 feeding on Betula populifolia, then transferred to Betula nigra (I'm not the best at IDing plants, so these are just my best guesses). Pupated on a date between 8/8/2020 and 8/14 and eclosed on 3/21/2021. Since this adult was raised in captivity, this early emergence may have been the result of having been kept for the most part out of freezing temperatures.
