Observation notes: The moth was observed along a trail and near the stream in the bottom of Jones Hole Canyon in Dinosaur National Monument, Utah near the Colorado border. Interesting to note that the previous day a different species of silkmoth, Glover's Silkmoth (Hyalophora gloveri), was observed nearby in the same canyon.
