Observation notes: Greater Frits are among the toughest IDs I've ever tried to make and I'm not even close to being accomplished at it. Given my location in UT (the Cedar City area and the Cedar Breaks and surrounding Dixie National Forest area), and the apparently available choices according to the Bamona Iron County checklist, I'm going to go with Coronis here because of the evenly colored disk, the large silvered spots and the buffy colored submarginal area. Your help and advice would be much appreciated. This one did not open up for topside shots. Hot and sunny and butterfly feeding on flowers. Elevation 7182 feet.
