Coordinator notes: Tan eye in your area means nokomis, great spangled or aphrodite. It's not nokomis. Ventral hindwing lacks broad tan submarginal band so it is not great spangled. dorsal forewing, toward the trailing edge has extra black spot = aphrodite. not often seen in Taos County, so thanks for this. and for including multiple photo angles :^)
