Observation notes: I'm wondering if 2 separate Tiger Swallowtail species as well as a hybrid version existed at this particular site today (see other examples). This particular individual appears closer to P. glaucus, with a more scalloped appearance to the yellow-black fields on the ventral hindwing and crescent-shaped spots on the lateral edge of the ventral hindwing. The submarginal yellow band on the ventral forewing appears separated, but a bit crowded...which is only my hesitation in calling it a pure P. glaucus...
