Observation notes: Insect was mostly stationary, obscured by vegetation near the ground. There was a thunderstorm that rolled through late afternoon and the moth moved higher up the fence to dry (only time we saw it move). Post rain its wings were closed more fully and the lower stripes were no longer visible.
