Observation notes: Around eight individuals observed today at two locations near the Point Arena harbor. Individuals noted nectaring on Grindelia stricta, Senecio minimus, Wyethia angustifolia, and Solidago spathulata. This individual is a male and was captured under authorization of USFW scientific collection permit for sexing but was subsequently released at the site.
