Observation notes: I was standing on my deck and this little butterfly landed on my hand and immediately set its proboscis down and began to sample "the goods." It remained on my hand for at least 15 minutes while I watered my garden and walked around the yard. After it had its fill, it flew high into the sky. What a beautiful experience!
