Observation notes: I have never seen this type of moth in Lubbock, Texas before. I saw it on my dwarf magnolia tree this morning around 8:00 AM. It is bright and sunny this morning. The weather is proximately 65°. I captured them off in a jar to identify it, then promptly released it onto a sunflower plant.
