Observation date: August 11, 2021

Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: I can't tell which species this is. It was feeding from an area on the ground near the seep that was attracting a lot of flying insects even though I didn't see any water there. This was a normal sized duskywing.

Coordinator notes: this is a tough ID, between Horace's and Meridian. the blue/gray hairs on the FW and the lack of iridescent dark blobs on the HW steer me to Meridian, which has been seen earlier this summer in the Sandias. Horace's is still MIA.
