Coordinator notes: This is a blue...a female Melissa Blue (aka Edwards' Blue). Check-out the Coral Hairstreak on the BAMONA website and you can see how the two are very different. The red spots on the underside of the wings on the Coral are round and separated (very small or absent on the forewings) and the upperwings have no orange bands. The Coral Hairstreak is very uncommon east of the foothills on the high plains. Mike
