Observation notes: Found as a pupa in a lower surface tentiform mine on Solidago rugosa. The pupa was in a spindle-shaped hammock of silk that spanned the width of the mine (third photo, the dark blotch in the middle of the photo is the pupa). The adult emerged the next day, 8/9.
