Observation date: September 16, 2021
Submitted by: Chrustay
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Seems a rather late date. But appropriately in the middle of the Short-grass prairie. The only other butterflies on a halfhour walk here were 2 Burnsius skippers. Was nectaring at *Liatris punctata* (I believe). Unfortunately the not ideal photograph included here was the only one I could get before it flew off to parts unknown.
