Coordinator notes: I'm not sure about this one. Is it Phyciodes? Chlosyne? In many ways it looks like P. tharos but I'm not convinced. The FW patterns aren't right near the outer margin, and the silver spots on the HW above the sub-marginal line are also different than what I'd expect on P. tharos. I'm sure this will be obvious to someone else, which is why I'm marking it as "cannot identify". Thanks - JRains The only other possibility might be Chlosyne gorgone but this appears to be a female Silvery Checkerspot, definitely not a Pearl Crescent-Ken Davenport
