Coordinator notes: Yes form cottlei, they fool a lot of people! Several years back it was claimed no one had ever really collected a real "Lupine Blue" in the Coast Ranges north of Santa Barbara County. I decided to prove them wrong and it turned out "Lupine Blues" (now Plebejus monticola) was quite abundant and widespread. Both monticola and chlorina are species level blues,real Lupine Blues occur from Sequoia National Park northward...Ken Davenport
