Observation notes: This picture was taken in Kenner, Louisiana, USA just outside of New Orleans. It was a shaded front porch in the afternoon. I've never seen anything like this before. I've searched lists of butterflies and moths and found nothing with those antennae that look like clear feathers. Very interesting. HFB
