Observation notes: Very unexpected lifer, and a first non-historical record for Bernalillo county on bamona. This habitat is different from other foothill spots, it is a juniper-oak dominated foothill area that isn't a canyon but has a good amount of hills. This was feeding on wallflowers with several checkered skippers.

Coordinator notes: It is known from Bernalillo County, but is not regular there, and now BAMONA has a modern record. Cool! thus begins the spring brood for this species.
