Observation notes: Per Caitlin LaBar. "This is an Acmon Blue female, not a male with wide brown borders. From what I understand, blue female Acmon are only seen in the spring brood and even then are not always seen across their range. Lupine Blue females may have a bit of blue but never quite to this extent."

Coordinator notes: Yours is early spring acmon form cottlei. The Lupine Blue complex is confusing to all of us and California monticola and chlorina have been elevated to species status. Those don't get into Oregon. The Mt. Shasta lupini and nomnotypical lupini do...Ken Davenport
