Observation notes: I think this is either a Viereck's skipper or Oslar's Roadside skipper, I'm not certain which. The habitat description for both species in Glassberg matches this canyon. This was seen at the beginning of the seep area at Embudito canyon. It never fed, it just perched on various rocks. Very cute butterfly, and whatever it is its a lifer for me.
