Observation notes: Was birding and watching a Western Kingbird hawking insects. To my horror and surprise it grabbed this moth. I have been trying to see one of these for a while and would have been nice to observe it. The moth still seemed to be alive and the bird was aggressively shaking it. Forgive me if this sort of submission is not allowed but was a first (and very different) sighting for me.
