Coordinator notes: Certainly the Hackberry Butterfly (ssp. antonio)...there are Celtis trees growing throughout this area I term "the Colorado southern slope." Also, Soapberry groves which is the host for the Alcestis Hairstreak also found here...the only place in Colorado to find this lycaenid that is common southward in Oklahoma and Texas. Mike
