Observation date: June 25, 2022
Submitted by: dawittrock2231
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Near a floodlight on my deck. At one point on BG I found a reference to a Holcocera chalcofrontella complex, but couldn't find it when I went back to look. This is the one species in the genus that has four prominent dots, but is relatively unpatterned beyond those dots. I think you have a H. immaculella on BG, but that has no obvious markings.
Status: Resident

Coordinator notes: Holcocera chalcofrontella is part of the Holcocera chalcofrontella grouping on BG. Since BAMONA does not have the Hc grouping as an option, I'll just place this in Hc. https://bugguide.net/node/view/1902191
