Observation notes: I found this moth with its abdomen slightly stuck in a door. I gently unattached the what I assume was an injured section and left it in a safe place to heal if possible. The moth stayed in the same place most of the day and opened and closed its wings here and there. By afternoon I didn’t find it again so I’m hoping it flew away! Warm, sunny day.
