Observation notes: Came to black light, ID assist from Seek app. Information from Maryland Biodiversity Project and BugGuide websites says that Banded Tussock Moth (H.tessellaris) and Sycamore Tussock Moth (H. harrisii) are difficult to separate by field identification.
