Observation notes: Individual was perched on the trunk of an oak tree along Pine Tree Trail, near the Aguirre Springs Campground, located on the east-facing slope of the Organ Mountains. It proceeded to walk down the trunk then onto a large limb to hide within a mistletoe plant, established at the trunk and branch interface. The afternoon was hot, humid, windy, and under full sunlight.
