Observation notes: At porch light. 2 mm squares. Possibly A insita or A. dactylina (which are listed as synonymous on MPG). Confusing! :)

Coordinator notes: Acronicta insita. Yes. I sometimes have to check on several sites to find the various names for the same moth. I'll add this message which I also left on the the notes for the Acronicta insita you posted recently. I made ID corrections to two of your moths after I checked with Les Ferge from the Wisconsin Entomological Society. 1325582 was IDed as Gluphisia septentrionis. 1323870 was IDed as Lithophane franclemonti which appears to be a moth with a very limited range.
