Observation notes: Ahh yes, I was discussing 1328880 with owlbyr on iNat the other day about it being H. lecontei, I mentioned BAMONA and he made an account and went through and reviewed all of the Haploa that he was sure were misidentified on here. We were also discussing 1333914 possibly being H. confusa, but agreed to wait until someone else weighed in as reversa and confusa are both “confusa-ing” - apologies for the bad joke. What are your thoughts on it being H. confusa? I’m sending out another batch of moths to be dissected next week, should be interesting to see what they are (more Eupitheciini, Eulithis, Diathrausta, and a Rheumaptera, have several others that I haven’t decided on where to send yet - I do like the shots of the reproductive parts to add to my observations which I don’t get from the UW lab.

Coordinator notes: If 1333914 is compared with the Haploa sp. on MPG, I would say that H. lecontei seems to be most likely rather than H. reversa. But some moths on BG make H. reversa seem possible. But moths on BG seem to be placed somewhat haphazardly at times (in my opinion) by contributors and it takes time for someone with more expertise to go through and make corrections.
