Observation notes: Hudson Valley region of NY in the town of Schaghticoke, 80 degrees Fahrenheit cloudy 0 precipitation, steady winds at 6 mph from the west. This picture is in our perennial garden and this butterfly was spending a long time on the bee balm plant.
