Observation notes: Warm, sunny day. Wind calm. Stopped here on my way to Marys Peak summit and on the way home. Butterfly observed in the morning around 10:30am as well as late afternoon. Habitat: small roadside waterfall, sunny hot rock cliff, mossy seep with moist roadside ditch, forest edge. More than one flying. Patrolling shoulders of road, nectaring, visiting wet moss at seep.
