Observation notes: Warm, sunny day. Very light breeze, almost calm. Environment: Open meadow. Multiple butterflies of this species flying, nectaring and ovipositing. Today, sightings of this species limited to high meadow from Mary's Peak day use area to summit. Nectaring on oxeye daisy, western woolly sunflower. Ovipositing on lupine.
