Observation notes: Small, powder blue butterfly with dark wing edges and white fringe. Wingspan: approx. 10-15mm. A large grouping was observed near the trailhead to Blakiston Falls in Red Rock Canyon of Waterton Lakes N.P. Appeared to be attracted to wildflowers having similar blue color (sp. unknown). Appears to be Polyommatus icarus, but much farther west than the published range for this species.
