Observation notes: Nectared on Pearly Everlasting (Anaphalis margaritacea), a native composite in my garden. This was the second Gray Hairstreak seen this month in the garden, much grayer in color and missing one of the hind wing hairs compared to the Gray Hairstreak noted Aug. 13 on a pole bean leaf.
