Observation notes: Near a floodlight on my deck. This is probably H. caducus, but it just seemed a little different to me from others I have seen. Check out H. palustris. I'm not entirely sure what "the dark PM band in caducus points directly to the FW apex, whereas in palustris it follows more parallel with the outer margin, curving toward the costa rather than going toward the apex" in BG means, given the pictures.
